Flashmasta Goes Green

After the initial run of red PCBs, the Flashmasta has now gone green. I had previously been assembling a few Flashmasta, building a few Linkmasta, testing them, shipping them, etc. as time permitted. Right now, though, I’m waiting on some Linkmasta parts, and these new green PCBs showed up. I decided to build up a bunch of them so I’m ready when the Linkmasta parts are ready.

This may mean that there will be maybe 8-10 bundles available all at once when the Linkmastas are ready. Previously a few were available and sold out, and that happened a few times. I don’t know that it matters, but you needed something to waste a few minutes of your day reading about, right?

I also got some cartridges that may become part of the bundle. I’m not exactly sure how to do this. If you have an opinion, please comment. I enjoy getting feedback, as it doesn’t happen all that much. I have some cartridges that can become Flashmasta carts. Each bundle could come with a cartridge, or I could make it an option. If I can easily do it, I’m thinking of making it optional at checkout. This way, if you wanted to “sac” your own cartridge for the Flashmasta PCB, you could. If you wanted the Flashmasta to come in a game cartridge case, then that would be an option. Any thoughts?

      Though it is a problem of the cartridge, If it is a game in the Used, it is possible to obtain it with $2 in Japan. About 15 pieces.

    Right now, I don’t think I can sell just the Flashmasta, but I will consider it. If things start going faster and more smooth with producing the bundles, then I may be able to make extra carts. For now, I am just trying to keep up with the bundles.

    Good to see the production moving along. And why would anyone want the Flashmasta on its own? Unless it can be programmed using Bung’s linker, or someone already bought a bundle and is hungry for more cartridges. Also, green PCBs are for wussies. Real men choose ruby red.

    I want to buy a flashmasta on its own as well!

    The reason is simple, ponrev and I were the buyers of the original first 3 bundle flavor made. I guess it’s a good sign that we want to buy more of them. Thing is, I would like to keep one flash cart as a permanent cart for a specific game that got an amazing translation….

    I’ll consider offering the Flashmasta alone, but bundles will get priority. Also, I’m not sure you guys will like the pricing, but we’ll see. I’ll try to figure it out.

    I want a bundle of course. I own a BUNG flash cart and linker and know you from the multi menu 🙂 , and of course if not a bundle an additional flash cart for me will be great. I suggest you offer the case as optional. And offer a discount to any contributor that send you NGP carts same as the FLASHBOY team did.

    You can offer i.e.

    1- Full bundle with case included : $$$$$$
    2- Full bundle without case: $$$$
    3- Full bundle without case if you send 3 ngp game cases : $$$

    So you can easily collect these cases. I offer you my team services to prepare a nice presentation: sticker and professional box for the product as long as a printed manual. A lot of people is waiting for a NGPC flash cart.

      I will email you, Scaramouche. Thanks for the ideas. In fact, I was able to obtain some cartridges, so the next set of bundles will be offered both with and without the NGP game case. When they are ready, I will post a picture.

    This is the right blog for anyone who wants to find out about this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just great!
