Okay, so I’m very much reaching when I say that I share a birthday with the NGPC. I just wanted to feel special. The fact is that I had a birthday recently, and the Neo Geo Pocket Color was supposedly launched in North America on August 6, 1999. Now that I typed it out, it doesn’t seem all that special anymore.
For my birthday, we did a little reenactment of the classic Office Space scene where they went all gangsta on a printer. I really wish that this had been shot in landscape, as all videos should be recorded, but it’s still a little entertaining. My hit caused part of the printer to fly over and hit one of the vehicles.
In real news, we have been working on the WonderSwan flash cartridge quite a bit lately. I hope to have something new to show after we get a batch of new PCBs in. I am also hoping that these new ones won’t need modifications like the latest one did. Basically, I hope this next run of circuit boards will be just like what I’m showing here, except that it won’t have all the little extra wires all over.
I would also like to announce that we have used some of the techniques learned while working on the WonderSwan to resurrect the Atari Lynx Flash Masta cartridge project.
